The toe-tappin', foot-stompin' evening was a huge success with a lot of fun and hilarity. The fabulous food was provided by Deelishus and entertainment by Fire in the Mountain.

Once again, Jane Ray designed and donated a symbolic card that represented our home and the change in our family life in a moving and thoughtful way. The image and the card expenses were generously donated by Jane and her husband David Temple and were a huge success at the Barn Dance.

Event: Jo Reaves ATLAS MOUNTAINS BIKE RIDE

"In October 2010 I set off from Marrakech with 14 strangers to cycle an average of 60 miles a day for 6 days through the Trans High Atlas Mountains.
It was an amazing experience travelling on mainly tarmac roads (although there were a couple of very tough terrain days). There were some difficult climbs and great descents through mountain villages towards the Atlantic Coast. We stayed in small traditional gites or hotels in rural villages with very welcoming and friendly people. The breathtaking scenery changed daily and luckily the weather was mainly warm and sunny throughout the day with cooler evenings. Although exhausted, we managed to party most nights (with a good supply of wine and beer in our support van!) A stunning long white sandy beach ended our trip followed by dinner and overnight stay at an equally lovely hotel (with plenty of hot running water!!)
The trip resulted in some fabulous new friends, very big calves and most importantly a bit of money for a very worthy cause."

Ping pong, sunshine, tea and cakes were the ingredients for a fun-filled afternoon with a competitive edge, of course! Well done to Tas Epstein-Tasgal who won the Senior Ladder and James Steeds who won the Junior Ladder.

On a perfect sunny summer's afternoon, 23 teams set off from The Freemasons' Arms in Hamsptead on a quest for clues that would lead them to the next Pub. Map reading, memory and observations skills were put to the test and the treasure hunt ended at The Holly Bush Pub where all assembled for fine food and drink and for the final scoring and prizes. The eye catching T-shirts with the fitting logo were donated byLogos 4 Polos

Jai's social coffee and cakes event held on a bright sunny day in the garden with an age range span of 5 months to 85 years. All left feeling nothing like a Friday coffee morning to start the weekend!

Three consecutive 1 hour themed spin sessions offered a chance to have an hour or more of sweaty exercise. Participants were spinning away to Latino, Dance and 80's music.

Jane hosted a drinks party where invited guests socialised and had a wager on a bunch of grapes on the vine in her garden. The largest bunch of grapes in September wins a bottle of bubbly.

The aroma of fresh coffee, delicious baked goods and a crowd of over 50 friends were the key ingredients of a hugely successful coffee morning. There wasn’t even any washing up as everyone went home with their newly acquired mug and Kevin’s philosophy!
