“My mum came home from Susan's house with a 'wish list' from UCLH - the hospital that looked after Kevin. They had a long list of things you can raise money for and I really wanted to do something because everyone at my house was very sad."
On the list they had "Pizza Night For Teenagers" and it cost £40, so I asked mum if I could invite some friends to watch a film and eat pizza at my house and I could charge them! We had a cool time watching a Bond movie and eating Margherita pizza and we're going to do it again soon!”

It’s hard to think of a more appropriate launch event for The Kevin Steeds Lymphoma Fund than a quiz night - Kevin loved a good quiz. That’s why on 28 November 2009, 180 friends and family braved the torrential rain to come to Tetherdown School Hall to pitch their wits, have a laugh, raise money and, of course, to remember Kevin.

Event: Jane Ray CHRISTMAS CARD

Jane Ray, a local illustrator, a generous artist and a dear friend designed and donated a symbolic card that represented our home and the change in our family life in a moving and thoughtful way. The image and the card expenses were generously donated by Jane and her husband David Temple and were a huge success at the Quiz night.
